Very gud artical on making Baluns, also straigh ferrit rod can be used for core!

made ur Balun "but" it rattles inside ur box well go to ur friendly hardware store es get a tube of expanding foam da stuff plumbers use for filling in gaps between walls es piping.. This stuff will fill the box es also seal from moisture..
