3.776 - 3.800 DX Window
NOTE: DX WINDOW
Emissions must not extend below 3776 kHz. "Therefore when using LSB, the suppressed carrier frequency
should be no lower than 3779 kHz"
from WIA band plan..
.
Last nite the question came up if working on 3.800, r we still in our band allocation?
Well for this reason I usally operate on 3799.80 so Iam below 3.800

" but" really I believe we can tx on 3.800 as our side band is on the low side..

. If we operate on the lower part of our allocated DX WINDOW 3.776 we would have our side band below 3.776!! this being the reason for not tx'n below 3.779.. the same thing happens when operating cw on all HF bands, if we use cw usb our carrier is above the botton end whereas lsb would put us below our allocated frequency!! well on 160/80/40m
Do u know where ur carrier frequency is on ur rig when using CW??
