Yesterday all flares came from region NOAA 0867, the largest flares it produced are a C2.6 flare peaking at 13:07UT, a C8.1 flare at 15:21UT. Today a M1.4 flare erupted at 5:33UT from region NOAA 0865 which is approaching the west limb of the solar disk. Geomagnetic conditions reached active to minor storm levels yesterday. The Bz was steady around -5 nT. Geomagnetic conditions turned quiet again but are expected to become active again due to the passage of a coronal hole. plus a m1.2 @2042z |
