Solar flaring activity has increased the past 24 hours.
Yesterday all flares came from region NOAA 0867, the largest flares it
produced are a C2.6 flare peaking at 13:07UT, a C8.1 flare at 15:21UT.
Today a M1.4 flare erupted at 5:33UT from region NOAA 0865 which is
approaching the west limb of the solar disk. Geomagnetic conditions
reached active to minor storm levels yesterday. The Bz was steady around
-5 nT. Geomagnetic conditions turned quiet again but are expected to
become active again due to the passage of a coronal hole.
