::In a similar vein, I was at a remote site with a bad telephone connection when my mother called to advise me that Aunt Emma had fallen off the roof. I said, "Who is Aunt Emma?" but I couldn't hear the reply. I wondered all night about that.
When I got home I found it was actually my antenna.
