 has anyone come across a tank coil (plate coil in HF amp's) with a teflon wire in the coil??
I have a coil 4 inch dia es 11 inches long, tubing about 1/4 inch dia es has a teflon insulated wire inside the copper tubing!! is this a type of HV rf choke Coil is out of commerical equipment!
my 6m amp has a simular thing on the cathode on the input to a pair of 4/400's maybe this coil was for the input to a real mother ****** amp..
