The total Interplanetary magnetic field at the L1 point (ACE)
increased this morning to 8nT.
B_z stayed positive. As a consequence,
there were no geomagnetic disturbances. If B_z becomes negative, active
conditions are possible.
This feature seen in the ACE-data is possibly
the signature of the interaction region that comes before the actual
fast coronal hole wind stream. This coronal hole is recurrent. Flaring
activity is small.
