On the Pro2 and Pro3, the factory default CW rise time

The actual CW rise/fall time
for this radio

I wonder why manufacturers bother to give a rise and fall
number that is so far off??

Do you think they count rise and fall times as the sum of
both rise and fall, rather than the rise time and fall time?

By the way, the shape is as much or more important than the
actual rise and fall.
We have to watch the sharp slope changes as much as the
time.
