Well was it not 240v RMS +/ - 6%
NOW they say 230v RMS -2% es+10%
es in the statment they, the "power generators" state it is keepted up at the high end 246v RMS
Now before u check with ur trusty VOM ,make shure it reads RMS es not P-P.. MOST CHEAP METERS READ P-P
Wot does all this mean to us!!

some equipment is 220v, so u "think" o' only 10v low but at 246v its 26v under.
Some early ja es w gear were 220v kenwood TS820/520ES YAESU MONITOR SCOPS WERE 220V NOW U/WE KNOW WHY AFTER YEARS OF OVER HEATING THE PRI OF THESE T/FORMERS THEY GAVE UP
