Speak Out: Is Your Spouse Supportive of Your Hobby?
A contributor states, "We've all seen the famous line in the for sale ad, "Wife says they go or I go." In my case, I guess I would be packing my bags. My XYL "tolerates" my hobby, but would never offer that ultimatum to me. She knows the answer. From what I have been reading on the for sale boards, it doesn't sound like some of you have been so lucky. Why not share some of your funny experiences with the rest of us. A big no on this one, my xyl even has a dx widows certificate framed and takes pride of place at this qth, this was issued in the late 70's and the shack is still down the back yard, not allowed in the house with the gear. But the peace and quiet down here away from the war office is something else. De 3 Grumpy Old Man
