The CCK has advised us that the frequency range 7100 kHz to 7200 kHz, the extension of the 40 meter Amateur
band, may now be used by Amateurs in Kenya on a Primary basis. Several broadcasting stations in neighbouring countries still use that segment of the band, as do intruders, mainly from Somalia.
