Am I a silly OLD FART !!
Why is it so HARD to get a good RETURN on direct QSL Card's
Most time's I send 2 IRC or ADD extra GREEN STAMPS or even add $Au5 (U can use for VK rare qsl cards!)
BUT still find IT'S HARD to get 95% RETURN
WHAT AM I DOING WRONG

Well Allan I guess you have started the ball rolling in this qsl matter. You know its very frustrating to think that one goes to the trouble of direct qsling, only to find a very poor return response, mind you I've had a few come back via the bureau. The cost of direct QSLing in VK3 (for those that don't know), Postage $1.80AUD,1xIRC $2.50 plus the cost of stationery. At todays exchange rate 2x green stamps is same cost of one irc, I might point out living in the country its not possible to purchase green stamps.
Many thanks to those stations that have had the decency to return direct. For those that don't bother returning cards I suggest get out get yourself a job and stop trying to live off other Hams generosity.
Viva la bloody Bureau !!, little or no cost.

Have a nice day
