I don't buy any of those "energy saving" products. Consumer Reports has done tests in recent years showing how "energy saving" devices and products only end up saving 12 cents a year many times.

Trying to get the soap out of my hair with those ridiculous water saving shower heads took me 10 minutes to try and get the soap out of my hair. It took me several shower heads until I finally found one in which I could get the soap off of me in 10 seconds instead of 10 minutes, and I bet I saved a lot more water and energy by taking less time to shower.

Water saving toilets also waste more water having to flush 2 or 3 times to get everything down, rather than just one flush of the old toilets that are blamed for wasting water.

These lights in my opinion just plain suck, and I will stock up on incandescents to last me the rest of my life if they actually stick with the promise to stop making and selling them, so that I don't have to use those fluorescent ones.

There was a post somewhere recently about someone refusing to install dimmers, because of the RF interference they cause. I have some that don't cause any interference and are designed especially so they won't.

Perhaps someone makes these fluorescent CFL bulbs that don't make any, or as much RF interference, but why not just stick with regular bulbs as long as you legally can?
