DX Reference is web-based, free content project written collaboratively by volunteers from all around the world. This site was started in August of 2007 in an effort to collect as much information about Amateur Radio DX Entities as possible and provide that information in an easy to use interface. For those of you that have used www.wikipedia.com, it is the same software they use and will have the same look and feel.

In every article, links will guide the user to associated articles, often with additional information. Anyone is welcome to add information, cross-references or citations. Due to the unique nature of collaborative editing, our hope is to have the latest content and news about each entity. Please refer to the Navassa Island entry which is the baseline standard for the way a page should look.

I am soliciting the amateur community for assistance in filling in the information. I have provided an example to show how I would like for each to look see the main wiki page for that reference. Within each entry you will be able to understand its history, the current DXCC status, challenges with obtaining permission to activate, the IOTA reference, a list of all previous DXpeditions, links to other sites that contain pertinent information.
