YU6AO ---> The Daily DX reports that "it is now been confirmed that the
station producing highest number of Montenegrin QSOs with the callsign YU6AO
is actually a VHF only license
and has been operated by several Serbian hams.
Upgrading of the license to HF privileges is pending and ".suggests that QSOs
made up to that point will be very questionable for DXCC purposes

YU6AO CREDITS ON HOLD!

On October 4th, 2006, Bill Moore, NC1L, ARRL DXCC Branch Manager, reports:

"A number of DXers have had their YU6AO credits rejected by the DXCC Desk. Although we are entering these confirmations, we are currently not allowing DXCC credit because of possible irregularities in the QSLing process. We have received several independent reports relating to the QSO dates, some QSOs made prior to July 4th, 2006, being post-dated to dates July 4th and later. We take this very seriously, and we are seeking clarification, but our latest attempt to communicate with YU6AO has not been acknowledged. Once this matter is cleared, credits already submitted can be claimed with a note to the DXCC Branch Manager, Bill Moore at dxcc@arrl.orgThis email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it ."

QSL YU6AO ---> The following was published on the DXCC Dialog Weblog
(http://www.arrl.org/blog/DXCC%20Dialog) on 11 October: "Reference our recent
comments about YU6AO credits [425DXN 805, ed.], we have decided to continue
crediting any YU6AO QSOs made on or after July 4, 2006. While we are still
concerned that for some reason there are apparent date errors on certain
YU6AO QSL cards,
we will continue to count these credits pending further
investigation. If you have received a YU6AO QSL card showing a date of July 4
or later which actually represents a QSO made prior to July 4, 2006, please
let us know in an email to dxcc@arrl.org". [Bill Moore, NC1L]
