FLASH!!! The 3YØX Peter I Team reports that the final helicopter trip from Peter I to the deck of the DAP Mares ended with a safe landing at 18:59UTC 24 Feb 2006! The ship will be underway to Deception Island and then to King George Island within the hour. Peter I Island is, once again, uninhabited!
