Well this month has seen very poor conditions on most of the bands.
Propagation has changed of an afternoon/evening from sp stateside to lp eu on 20m.
It’s amazing how the bands spring into life when there is a contest on, during the month saw two rtty contests, there was some big signals to be seen.
PSK stations worked on 20m, JE1,UA0,EA5,TI2,JR6,BGI,AP2,ZL2 and a number of various zones stateside. Also worked two JA1’s on15m.
RTTY Although worked a large number of stations in the contests, will only list a couple, EY8,HC8 and large numbers of eu’s on 20m.
There were some good sigs on 40m and I worked KH6, ZL2 and a handful of usa stations. Worked RU4 on MFSK with 599 reports both ways.
I’m yet to try out the latest mode (Olivia), has been some very good reports abt it.
Had I worked all the stations seen on the screen I would have been well over halfway to dxcc.
Well that’s it for now.
Next month VK3JXO new to digital modes and very keen will hopefully provide the digital news.
