vk3pa	Posted - 20 Mar 2009 : 08:57:44 AM SK 9V1RH David Rankin -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Today there came the very sad news that David Rankin, 9V1RH, has passed away just this morning here in Singapore. David was well known around the world in the Ham Radio community. I am proud to say that he was one of my best friends. Anyone who ever had a QSO with him would remember his engaging conversations and friendly manner. He was an incredibly knowledgeable Ham that was dedicated to Amateur Radio. He was also an amazingly genuine and warm human being. The Hams here in Singapore were better for him having been one of us. We will miss him very much. I am sure all that knew him will miss him as well. 73, Bob, 9V1QQ
