At one time, my wife used the words "That", "Damned" and, "Radio" so much, I thought that they were one word!

It's truly amazing how they set themselves up in competition against copper wire, silicon chips and aluminium boxes. I think that I like it that way anyway.....

ETA: I am going to go out on a limb and make a generalization here, the majority of the women that I have seen who take an interest (get a license) in Amateur Radio are ugly, over-weight and, are menopausal.
When I was involved in CB Radio some younger, good-looking girls were hanging around on the fringe but that was to only because their fathers were involved or they were plotting to slip the noose around some unsuspecting bachelors' neck.
"Lot Lizards" are another story........
