Licence fees up
The apparatus licence fee for amateur stations is now $62, an increase of $1, effective for renewals on or after 1 April, 2008.

The ACMA in reviewing fees takes into account a range of things that includes the direct administrative cost of issuing and renewing a licence.

Earlier it has undertaken a review of those and other costs related to the Amateur Service.
