Posted - 12 Apr 2006 : 06:28:00 AM Quiet geomagnetic conditions are expected untill April 15-16 when a recurrent coronal hole will beam a high speed solar wind stream towards the Earth. The large filament in the NE quadrant is still present and keeps potential for an imminent eruption. Flaring activity has increased to C-class level with a significant growth of Catania Sunspot Group 25 (now also labeled as NOAA AR 870).
