NOTE: the above forecasts are valid from 1230UT, 08 Feb 2006 until 10 Feb 2006PREDICTIONS FOR 08 Feb 2006 10CM FLUX: 074 / AP: 006
PREDICTIONS FOR 09 Feb 2006 10CM FLUX: 073 / AP: 005
PREDICTIONS FOR 10 Feb 2006 10CM FLUX: 073 / AP: 005
COMMENT: No significant activity is expected on the Sun. The solar wind
is stable and very smooth, at a low speed (320 km/s)
(needs to be above 375 for any activity) and with a weak
magnetic field (3 nT).
We thus expect quiet geomagnetic conditions and
we extend our all-quiet forecast for the next 48hours. Thereafter, a
faster wind may reach the Earth
due to a small equatorial coronal hole
now at central meridian.
