Description
VK2SK - Bathurst NSW.
Locator: QF46sn HASL: 785m.

Test Beacons CW 14wpm, every 4 minutes on:

28.485 - 40w 3/4 vertical. FT897D
50.120 - 50w 6el quagi->JA/VK4/VK8. IC756
144.120 - 20w 8el quagi->Sydney/ZL. FT897D

note: you can also remote transmit on 50.120usb using a 123hz subaudible tone via the VK2RLE Repeater in Heathcote. (146.800-ve offset)(This is like having a seperate transmit antenna on 50.120usb, you need to use your own 6m rig+antenna to monitor what is received on 50.120usb). This is a one-way crossband,crossmode link.
The CW beacon has priority, so you will have to wait till cw id is over before transmitting via 146.800- FM (123hz).
Hams near Bathurst, can try 146.800FM 123hz simplex to get a signal repeated onto 6m band.
The Bathurst 70cm-2m link into Rystestone 2m-repeater is now on 439.025FM.
(ICw21e h/h 4w discone, 147.225+/439.025)
Enjoy the tropo/sporadic-E, and have a DX filled stocking for x-mas.
cheers de Markus vk2sk + 73's....
